I was once a beauty queen, but it interfered with my chocolate binging. I once tried to pretend I never swore, even though my youngest said "bitch" before he said "bottle".
I never used to drink in front of my kids, now I feel if they can work an Xbox remote, they can open my wine for me.
Who I am now is a 40 something year old woman who loves fine dining, cocktails, and doesn't trust naturally skinny women. I skip to the beat of my own drum. More accurately I walk to it, because after 3 kids skipping makes me pee myself.
I'm sharing what I really think, regardless of how against the grain it may go. After 21 years as a parent in suburbia, I'm just too tired to hide my faults anymore.
